Pandemic Portraits of Missed Friends When the pandemic struck a year ago I told myself we would be house-bound for a couple of months. It never crossed my mind that we would still be waiting more than twelve months later to see our friends again. But even in my optimism, I’ll still felt deprived of friends. I sent out an email to twenty of my closest asking them to send me a photo of themselves…wearing glasses. Within a couple of weeks I received multiple photos of fourteen friends. Not all were wearing glasses and one was not even a photo of the friend. Sy sent me a photo of her pig. So here they are. Now I wait for the day we can throw a big party and invite everyone. |
